My husband had a great experience here. He was there for 10 days. The PT & nursing staff accomplished amazing results and we're so motivated to help return him to the same level of activity. A huge thank you to Drew, Petie, & Hanna.
I've had two stays at this rehab hospital and although they both were short, I was very pleased with the care I received. Everyone was extremely pleasant, the rooms were comfortable and clean, the food was delicious, and I the doctors and PT's were great. They are strict on your rehab in that they make you do the required 3 hours a day (barring injuries), but that's what you stay for. I'm sorry other's had different experiences, and hope they found a resolution to them.
Great people! I felt comfortable leaving my husband in their hands. They took care of him, didn't expect me to like my experience at Lourdes Hospital the week earlier. The people were kind and caring. Every day they helped him with his cleanliness needs. Not one person passed me in the hallway without a smile and/or a hello. When my husband needed something, they were there. He was kept busy during the week, so he wasn't bored. When he went back to his room, he was usually ready to go back! The facility was very comfortable and personable. On the negative side, it took the staff doctor a day and a half to show up and write dismissal orders/prescriptions. We had already left by then because we wanted to go home. Also, the food isn't very good, although the red beans and rice was awesome! The refrigerator is stocked with milk, juice, and other nutritional drinks. I was really leery about my husband coming here because of the negative posts that I read, but this place was so much better than Lourdes, where he was for almost two weeks earlier after his several level fusion surgery.
My son has been in LPRH not even a week and has fallen twice... I am livid, because no one can give me concrete answers to his fall. I am not one to give up!! Someone better come straight or else!!!!! I can't go home for a day break without my son falling. Believe me when I say, someone must be with your loved one 24/7 in these type facilities!! I hate to leave him for a second... This is unacceptable and will not be tolerated!!! My son had a stroke and all he needs to do is fall and hit his head!!!
Great, highly trained physical therapist
Excellent care for my husband with bilateral knee replacement. Good food, caring staff. Would recommend to everyone! Thankful for this facility available locally instead of Indianapolis!!
I have seen Matt Walker twice concerning different injuries. I was very pleased and enjoyed the atmosphere and the entire staff are very kind. I have referred many to his clinic and they were pleased as well. I am sending someone today as a matter of fact.
